ইংরেজি উচ্চারণের নিয়ম ||ইংরেজি উচ্চারণ শেখার ১০ টি সহজ নিয়ম।
Vowel -এর উচ্চারণ :
A-অ, আ, এ, অ্যা, এ্যা, এয়া
E-এ, ই, ঈ, আ
I- ই, আ, আই
O- আ, ই, আউ, ইয়ো
U- আ, উ, ইউ, ইয়ো
যা মনে রাখতে হবে :- ইংরেজি প্রতিটি Vowel (a, e, i, o, u)-এর দু'রকম উচ্চারণ হয়। ১. Short Sound(খাটো) ২. Long Sound (দীর্ঘ)।
Part of speech
•Sentence এ ব্যবহৃত প্রত্যেকটি word-কেই Parts of Speech বলে।
Part of speech কত প্রকার?
Part of speech ৮ প্রকার । যেমনঃ
1. Noun (Ex)- Sohel, Boy, Teacher, Teaching, Pen, Money, Love, Work, illness
2. Pronoun (ex) - 1, We, You, He, She, They, It, Who, What, Which, That, This.......
3. Adjective (ex)- Good, Bad, Rich, Poor, Strong, Weak, Tall, Short, Much, Less, ...
4. Verb (ex) - Do, Go, Play, Eat, Walk, Think, Work, Love, Take, be, is, have.
5. Adverb (ex)- Kindly, Happily, Nicely, now, then, today, always, here.....
6. Preposition (ex) Of, to, at, in, on, for, from, by, with, without, about, over,
7. Conjunction (ex) - And, but, or, since, because, when, where, that
8. Interjection (ex)- Ah!Oh!Hurrah! Fie! Ho! What! Shame.

Es বসানোর নিয়ম:
2. Word এর শেষে y এবং y-এর আগে consonant থাকলে y এর স্থলে i + es যুক্ত করে plural করতে হয়। কিন্তু vowel থাকলে শুধু s যুক্ত হবে। যেমন -
Baby - Babies
Body - Bodies
City - Cities
Lady - Ladies
Country - Countries
Duty - Duties
Fly - Flies
Study - Studies
Try - Tries
কিন্তু
Play - Plays
Boy - Boys
•Verb এর Past & Past Participle করার সময় verb-এর শেষেy থাকলে y এর স্থলে i + ed হয়, কিন্তু y এর পূর্বে vowel থাকলে y +ed হইবে। যেমন
Cry - Cried
Carry - Carried
Apply - Applied
Try- Tried
foPay - Paid,
Say - Said,
ier এবং i + est -বসানো নিয়ম :
Study - Studied
Play-Played,
Lay- Laid
Ing যুক্ত করার নিয়ম:
•Verb এর শেষে e থাকলে e উঠিয়ে দিয়ে ing যুক্ত করতে হয়। যেমন -
Come - Coming Writing - writing
Change - Changing
•কিন্তু যদি e-এর উচ্চারণ হয় তাহলে e বাদ যাবে না। যেমন - See - Seeing
ing বসানোর নিয়ম:
•Verb এর শেষে y থাকলে ing যুক্ত করার সময় y এর কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না। যেমন
- Cry - Crying
- Study - studying
•Verb-এর শেষে ie থাকলে ing যুক্ত করার সময় ie এর পরিবর্তে y + ing হইবে
Die - Dying.
Tense
•tense কাকে বলে?
• যে বাক্য দ্বারা অতীত, বর্তমান বা ভবিষ্যতকে বোঝায় তাকে tense ba কাল বলে।
•Tense কত প্রকার?
• Tense প্রধানত তিন প্রকার।
